LAST WEEK AT A GLANCE

Flynn earned all-tournament honors after a strong run in the

Providence Tournament, leading Flintridge Prep to a fifth-place

finish. Despite battling flu-like symptoms, the 6-foot-3 middle

blocker recorded 63 kills in four matches, including 19 in Friday's

three-game setback against L.A. Cathedral. Had 29 kills Saturday in a

pair of victories.

LAST WEEK AT A GLANCE

Schachtner recorded 37 strikeouts in 21 innings to lead Flintridge

Prep to a 2-1 record. Her most impressive performance came Tuesday in

a 2-0 victory against North Hollywood Oakwood. She set a

school-record with 17 strikeouts, yielding just one hit. Schachtner

followed that performance with a one-hit, 12-strikeout effort Friday.
