RAMPING UP THE SKATE PARK

WHAT HAPPENED

The City Council voted to approve a contract with Spohn Ranch Inc.

for work at the City Skate Park.

WHAT IT MEANS

The city will pay Spohn $20,955 to furnish and install another

half-pipe skate ramp at the park.

The council approved the contract 5-0.

DIGITAL MAPPING

WHAT HAPPENED

The council authorized City Manager Mark Alexander to sign a

contract with AMN Options for digital orthophotography.

WHAT IT MEANS

The city will sign a $27,000 contract so AMN can take aerial

photos of the city's topography. Photos will be used with the city's

new digital-mapping software, which will help the city staff map

property boundaries and plot trails.

VOTE

The council voted to approve 5-0.
