Suspected armed robbers at large Friday

Police searched Friday for two men who held up a car full of people

at gunpoint for their money and jewelry.

A Los Angeles man reported Thursday evening he and his two

companions were robbed by two men with handguns Wednesday as they

were leaving the Tops Club, 4227 San Fernando Road, according to a

police report.

The two men took $400 in cash, a case full of CDs, the female

passenger's purse and jewelry from all three of the car's occupants,

police said. The men fled in a blue, four-door Honda, according to a

report.

One suspect was described as a thin, clean-shaven Latino man in

his 30s with black hair, wearing a light green, long-sleeved shirt

and blue jeans. The second suspect was a blond, Latino man with a

moustache and light complexion in his early 20s, wearing a white and

yellow checkered, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white tennis

shoes.
