'A Mid-Summer Night Art Exhibit' is tonight

The Committee for a Clean & Beautiful Glendale, along with

Neighborhood Services, will play host to "A Mid-Summer Night Art

Exhibit and Silent Auction" from 7 to 9 tonight in the atrium and

plaza at 141 N. Glendale Ave.

The fundraiser will benefit the "I Love My Neighborhood" poster

contest and other environmental-education programs operated by the

two organizations. Artwork from 63 local elementary school children

will be on display.

Art donated by local artists and other items will be included in

the auction.

The event is open to the public and will also include live music

and hors d'oeuvres provided by local restaurants.
