rummage sale.
Knutson has opened her home to the event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Aug. 28 at 330 Cumberland Road, Glendale. Donations will be accepted
from 6 to 8 p.m. today and Sunday at the Knutson home.
This is the first rummage sale the group has had since it
organized with the opening of the store in 2003.
Knutson's driveway and garage will be brimming with items donated
by store customers, employees, their family and friends.
Items will be priced from 25 cents to $20. Donations to date
include a portable TV, a CD boombox, kitchen items, framed art and
computer printers.
All proceeds collected will go to Dignity U Wear, an organization
that provides new clothes to children and families in need in the
community. Stein Mart stores participate in fundraisers for Dignity U
Wear's operation costs so that clothing can be provided to the
charitable organizations.
