Tologs pull out close league victory

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 250, Chaminade 257: Marcela

Campbell and Lauren Wheeler each shot a seven-over-par 43 for the

Tologs in Thursday's Mission League match at the Chevy Chase Country

Club.

Flintridge Sacred Heart's Jenny Kim carded a 52, as the Tologs

improved to 3-2, 2-0 in league. The Tologs will next play Louisville

at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodland Hills Country Club.

GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

Providence 3, Crescenta Valley 1: The Falcons got off to a shaky

start against the host Pioneers, falling, 25-9, 25-22, 26-26, 25-17,

in a nonleague match.

It was the first win by Providence (5-2) against the Falcons in

three seasons.

GIRLS' TENNIS

La Canada 13, South Pasadena 5: Kelley Fox and Erica Lee each

swept their three singles sets in Thursday's Rio Hondo League road

win.

The doubles team of Lindsay Van Amringe and Valerie Chin also

swept for La Canada.
