LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE HOME ON DESIGN TOUR
Stratford Manor in La Canada Flintridge, is one of five homes that
can be viewed on the 18th annual Kitchen and Interiors Tour Sunday.
The other homes are in the San Gabriel Valley.
The self-guided tour, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., is sponsored by
the Pasadena Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.
Funds raised go to helping the chapter accomplish its mission, to
improve the value of the profession to the public and to work for a
favorable environment for members' right to practice interior design.
Robin Dorman, owner of Robin Dorman Design Concepts, owns the La
Canada Flintridge home for which she had only three months to
complete renovations, which was mandated by construction financing.
The new additions she made to the home include an indoor/outdoor
media room, walk-in fireplace with seating and a 16-foot fountain with spa and infinity pool.

'HOMECOMING' IN
OPENING WEEKEND
Glendale's A Noise Within is opening Harold Pinter's "The
Homecoming" this weekend as part of its season's offerings.
When the prodigal son returns to his birthplace, his new wife in
tow, language becomes the menacing weapon of choice. The wife's
presence rekindles long dormant and deadly rivalries. Not just words,
but pauses, are deafening in this production.
"Homecoming" directed by Sabin Epstein, resident director, runs in
repertory with Shakespeare's "A Midsummer night's Dream."
