Michael James Doyle, the son of Dennis and Paula Doyle of...

Michael James Doyle, the son of Dennis and Paula Doyle of Glendale,

received the rank of Eagle Scout.

He is a member of Troop 101 of the Verdugo Hills Council Boy

Scouts of America.

For his Eagle Scout project, Michael, along with teams of Scouts

and parents, scanned and organized thousands of archive pictures from

1927 through 2003 from Incarnation Church. He then burned digital

copies onto compact discs and gave copies to the church's library and

school and the Special Collections Department at the Glendale Public

Library.

Michael received several scouting honors, including Ad Altare Dei

Catholic religious award and the Order of the Arrow. He also is a

Scout Life Guard and has taught swimming and lifesaving at camp.

He graduated from St. Francis High School and is a freshman at

Santa Barbara Community College, where he plans to study television

and graphic arts media.

Michelle Jacobovitz, the daughter of Chris and Vic Jacobovitz of

Burbank, has been accepted into membership in the National Society of

Collegiate Scholars at Cal State Northridge.

Michelle was also named to the dean's list at CSUN her freshman

year. She is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School. Michelle is

majoring in theater.

Burbank resident Gretchen Weiss Lee graduated from Azusa Pacific

University with a master's degree in education with a career goal to

become a teacher.

Kyle J. Mersola, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mersola of Burbank,

who made the dean's list at Azusa Pacific University. Kyle is a

graduate of Village Christian High School and is a communications

major.
