THE SALVATION ARMY
The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers for its various programs
at the Glendale Corps Community Center, 320 West Windsor Road. People
are needed for programs which include Meal on Wheels deliveries from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Homeless Feeding Help from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30
p.m.; Pantry Helpers from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m.; and its After School Tutors program from 4 to 6 p.m. For

AMERICAN RED CROSS GLENDALE-CV CHAPTER
Volunteers needed for a wide variety of activities, such as
serving juice and cookies at blood drives or participating on a
Disaster Action Team. Registration recommended, but not required:

THE GREATER LOS
ANGELES ZOO ASSN.
The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Assn. (GLAZA) is offering hands-on,
behind-the-scenes opportunities for adults and students as part of
its docent and volunteer programs. General volunteer options range
from helping at special events and in the education programs, working
with youngsters at the children's zoo and helping the animal care
