Continuing to struggle in Pacific League play, the Crescenta Valley boys' varsity basketball team dropped a 59-45 decision to host Glendale on Tuesday.
With the loss, the Falcons fell to 10-10 overall and to 0-4 in league.
CV will face Arcadia there today (Friday) at 7 p.m. and won't play again until next Friday when the team goes on the road to Muir for a 5:30 p.m. league contest.
The Falcons, who were defeated by the Nitros for the first time since 1999, were two points behind with just over a minute-and-a-half to go in the contest when CV's Areg Avanessian was called for a technical foul.
