Gruszecki -- Griffith

Stephanie Gruszecki and Michael Griffith have announced their

engagement and plan to marry in April.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Louise Vien of Glendale and the

late Basilio Gruszecki. She graduated from Crescenta Valley High

School in 1994. She received her bachelor's degree from Oregon State

University in 1998 and in 2000 received a master's degree in teaching

from Willamette University. She is a first-grade teacher in Salem,

Ore.

The groom-elect is the son of Luann Finn and Ron Griffith, both of

Klamath Falls, Ore. He graduated from Klamath Union High School in

1993 and received a bachelor's degree in 2000 from Oregon Institute

of Technology. He is a sonographer at Kaiser Permanente in Portland,

Ore.
