March 05, 2005

It's the first week of the busy spring sports season, and weather is

already forcing area sports teams to scramble for shelter and

reshuffle their schedules.

Rain pelted the area Friday, forcing several baseball, softball

and tennis teams to cancel their respective contests. The inclement

weather will also have an effect on some of today's games.
