Heinemann pitched well for the Gangi Builders and Glendale Police,

respectively.

Both pitchers went six innings without allowing a run. Heinemann

allowed seven hits and struck out 15, while Horwith yielded one hit

and struck out 10.

Bobby Coffin hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh

inning to close out the victory. Kyle Pomeroy picked up the victory.

Glendale Firemen's Club 2, Trotta Floor Coverings 1: Pitcher Mark

Sereno allowed one run and two hits and struck out 11 in six innings to lead the Glendale Firemen's Club. Kyle Booth and Joey Sedano

combined on a one-hitter for Trotta Floor Coverings.

Glendale Firemen's Club scored two unearned runs in the second

inning before Trotta Floor Coverings scored in the fifth.

Glendale Realtors 13, Burbank Diamondbacks 2: Craig Settles hit

two home runs and Mark Attarian added one to lead Glendale Realtors

at Babe Herman Field.

Cameron Doran had three hits, including two doubles for Glendale

Realtors. Winning pitcher Michael Moreno struck out three.

Northeast Eagles 65, Santa Clarita Cougars 31: The Eagles, a 12-year-old boys' basketball squad, captured the Valley Youth

Conference Sunday at Glendale High.

The Eagles finished 16-0 under Coach Christian Ramirez.

Members of the Eagles were Anthony Ramirez, Mark Brown, Nicky

Reyes, Bela Gyisemi, Isias Anzaldo, Kaine Pereda, John Logan, Eduardo

Sanchez, Jonathan Reyes and Mo Aguilar.

Chatsworth Chiefs 44, Crescenta Valley Falcons 41 (OT): Guard

Brandon Van Horn sent the game into overtime for the Falcons in the

Valley Conference Tournament championship contest at Glendale High on

Sunday.

Crescenta Vlley got 15 points and 12 rebounds from center

Christian Misi. Teammate Davis Dragovich added eight points.

Crescenta Valley reached the title game with a 54-46 win against

the Glendale Panthers on Saturday. Forward Jude Jeffress scored a

team-high 12 points for the Falcons, which got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Misi. The Falcons were coached by Mike Gayle.
