Scenic painter Johnathon Gallagher will be demonstrating artist at

the Burbank Art Assn. meeting beginning with a reception at 6:30 p.m.

at the Burbank Board of Realtors, 2006 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank.

The demonstration begins at 7:30 p.m. A still life in acrylics will

be his subject as well as a sampling of his animation works from his

laptop. Fee for guests is $3. Refreshments will be served. For more

FRIDAY

Stephanie's Art Gallery is having an opening reception for its

"4+1" exhibition from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the gallery, 466 Foothill

Blvd., La Canada Flintridge. The show will continue through June 18.

The Glendale Summer Theatre Project will have its annual benefit

at 7:30 p.m. at the Glendale home of Chris and Kathy Pearson. A $20

donation is suggested. Those wishing to attend or contribute may call

funds for the production of the comedy "Charley's Aunt" by Brandon

Thomas in July in front of the Doctors' House Museum in Brand Park,

1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale.

Singer/songwriter Brook Ramel performs on guitar from 8:30 to

11:30 p.m. every Friday in May upstairs at the Bennigan's patio at

the Glendale Marketplace, one half block south of Broadway on Brand

Boulevard.

SATURDAY

Visiting Artist Workshop featuring Tom Fong will be from 1 to 4

p.m. at the city of Burbank Creative Arts Center, 1100 W. Clark Ave.,

Burbank. There is a $25 fee. Fong will give a lecture and

demonstration workshop on watercolor painting. Space is limited. For

co-sponsored by the city of Burbank Park, Recreation & Community

Services Department and the Burbank Fine Arts Federation.

The French group Bratsch, specializing Russian, Armenian and

Yiddish melodies, will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Ford Amphitheatre

in the Hollywood Hills. Tickets range from $30 to $40 and can be

Glendale Community College Spring Choral Concert will be at 7:30

p.m. in the auditorium. The groups performing are the College Choir,
