Photographing protesters on the street is not as simple as it might

seem. When you think of the protest marches of the '60's, there are

great pictures everywhere with emotion, tension, conflict and even

violence. The common protests we photograph in our communities are

usually peaceful, small and generally contrived for the media.

Protesters usually want to stare right at the camera and show you

their signs, making for posed and unusable pictures. This was an easy

one! The Arnold masks give the photo an interesting visual with the

placards telling the story, and the NBC sign gives the location of

the event.
