Stan Rich passed away on July 28 at the age of 56, following a yearlong battle with melanoma.
Stan was born in Glendale and lived his earlier years in La Cañada. He graduated from La Cañada High as a member of the first graduating class. He then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in history from UCLA.
Stan worked for 21 years at Arrowhead Water. He then went to work for Cintas for about eight years, until his medical leave.
Stan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Connie, and their children, Bryan and Lisa. He also leaves his mother, Ruth; sister, Diane Sullivan and her husband Dave; nephews Chris (Jill) and Tony Sullivan; and in-laws Ginnie and Bud Nelson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at La Cañada Presbyterian Church.
Stan was a loving husband, father, son and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
