the butterfly habitat at the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve.
Helpers are needed to build a new butterfly trail. Volunteers will
work in two shifts, either 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m. They
should wear old clothes, closed-toe shoes and work gloves.
The Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve is at 2301 University Drive,
Newport Beach. For more information, call (949) 509-4787.
