"Annie Warbucks" at Orange County Children's Theater. This magical

sequel to the Broadway musical begins where Annie left off. It's

Christmas Morning, 1933, and everyone in Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks'

household is celebrating the billionaire's adoption of Annie, an

orphan who charmed her way into his heart. However, their celebration

is short-lived when New York Child Welfare Commissioner Harriet Doyle

arrives. The commissioner declares that New York law does not allow a

single man to adopt a child. Warbucks has 60 days to find a wife and

a mother for Annie, or Annie goes back to the orphanage. Show starts

at 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost $10 each. The play will be held at

A Coastal Cleanup day will be sponsored by the City of Huntington

Beach to give the beach a sprucing up after an active summer. Simple

Green is co-sponsor, and validations will be given for those parking

at Downtown Main Promenade Parking structure on Walnut Avenue at 3rd
