The Shofar Factory will conduct a special program for Kindergarten

through 3rd-grade students on Sept. 25 at Temple Bat Yahm, 1011

SHABBAT SERVICES

Friday Night Shabbat Services will be held at 8 p.m. on Sept. 30

at Temple Bat Yahm, 1011 Camelback St., Newport Beach. Services will

be led by Rabbi Mark S. Miller, Cantor Jonathan Grant and Rabbinic

Assistant Corie Yutkin and will be followed by an Oneg Shabbat.

KATRINA RELIEF FUND CONCERT

Temple Bat Yahm will hold a special Katrina Relief Fund Concert

from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sept. 25 at 1011 Camelback St., Newport Beach.

The Irvine Young Artists, directed by Albert Wu, will perform pieces

from Bach, Vivaldi and other Baroque Masters. Admission is free and

50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

A special 50th anniversary celebration will be held at 10 a.m.

Sept. 25 at Harbor Trinity Church, on the corner of Baker Street and

Fairview Road in Costa Mesa. A complimentary continental breakfast

will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is invited. Community leaders

are expected to attend, along with denominational leaders and former

pastors. A video presentation of the church's beginnings will be

presented along with a message entitled, "Faith First" by Pastor Rod

ROSH HASHANAH AND YOM KIPPUR

Temple Bat Yahm in Newport Beach has announced that tickets are

now available for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services in October,

CAPPELLA CANTORUM

Cappella Cantorum, the young adult choir of St. John Vianney

Chapel, is beginning its fifth year. The choir is open to students in

grades six through 12. It provides active faith participation for

teens during their high school years. Participation includes singing

at mass regularly and at special events. Rehearsals are from 11 a.m.

to 1 p.m. Saturdays in the Chapel at 314 Marine Ave., Balboa Island.
