the game. Also, check out the new Hoover Marching Band.

Yee encourages everyone to come out and show your support for all

the Hoover athletic teams. Don't regret missing an opportunity to see

your child play high school sports. All are invited to the PTSA

meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Hoover College/Career Center in Room

201. Hear how your student can investigate different careers and get

a college education for practically free. The Hoover Music department

is having a 12-hour play-a-thon fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Oct. 15 in the Hoover auditorium.

The event will feature student and professional musician

performances and clinics. Proceeds will benefit the Hoover/Clark

music programs and the Hoover jazz ensemble, which has been invited

to perform in China this spring.

It's not too late to join PTSA. Show your support of the Hoover

PTSA and the National and California State PTA for just $7 per

person. Parents, teachers, and students are all encouraged to join.
