Two blood drives benefiting Huntington Memorial Hospital are coming up in the Crescenta Valley.
The first will be from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints La Crescenta. It is part of La Crescenta resident Travis Anderson's Eagle Scout project.
To participate in the blood drive, please bring a picture identification, eat a nutritious meal, avoid caffeine and drink lots of water before donating.

The second will be from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station
The Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Supporting Huntington Hospital Blood Drive. The station is at 4554 Briggs Ave. in La Crescenta.
Walking in to donate blood the day of the drive is welcome, and appointments to donate can be scheduled by calling 238-3231.
