January 17, 2006|By JOANN STUPAKIS

ptaAs part of the Glendale Centennial Celebration in 2006, the city of Glendale invites all residents (especially PTA members) to take part in a series of community meetings where they will help design the future of our town.

Join the mayor, City Council members and staff, your friends and neighbors in playing the exciting new game "Let's Make A Budget" throughout January and February. Those attending the meetings will be provided with a list of city services and functions and will voice their opinions on how to allocate funds to maintain them over the next 10 years.

Refreshments and child care will be provided, and all participants will receive the first ever official Glendale city map, which will include coupons for discounts from your favorite local merchants.
