Crescenta Valley High graduate Jimmy Goffredo, who is now a star player on the Harvard University mens' basketball team, last week was named the Ivy League's Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Goffredo, an All Pacific League, All CIF selection when he played for the Falcons, had been averaging 16.2 points a game for Harvard up until last week.
He was leading the Ivy League in scoring with a 23.5 points per game average.
The junior guard scored a career-high 30 points against Brown on Jan. 28. In that game, he hit eight 3-point baskets, the fourth highest total in Ivy League history.
