The Foothill Municipal Water District board of directors appointed Richard W. Atwater as its Division 4 Director at a Feb. 15 meeting.
Atwater is in his second term on the board of directors for the Crescenta Valley Water District.
CVWD General Manager Dennis Erdman said he believes Atwater will continue as a member of the CVWD board of directors.
FMWD Division 4 primarily is composed of La Cañada Irrigation District, Mesa Crest Water Company and a portion of Valley Water Company.
Jeffrey Kightlinger, a resident of La Cañada Flintridge, was named the new general manager of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California on Tuesday.
