April 07, 2006

The Al Malaikah Shriners will present their 55th annual All Star Football Game on Saturday, June 24 at Citrus College Stadium with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.

Players from public schools will compete against players from private schools. Some of the top players in Southern California who are scheduled to participate in the event will includeCJ Gable of Sylmar High and Toby Gerhart of Norco High.

Organizers have slightly modified the game this year in order to include players from the Los Angeles City Section who will play for the private team. The organizers said this should make for a more balanced roster on both sides.
