Foundation meets fundraising goal
The Glendale Educational Foundation will celebrate meeting its first-year fundraising goal of $100,000 by presenting the Glendale Unified School District Board of Education with a check at an all-school student flag ceremony at 9 a.m. June 23 at R.D. White Elementary School, 744 E. Doran St., Glendale.
The funds were raised to support visual and performing arts programs in the Glendale Unified School District.
County meeting to focus on zoning
The Los Angeles County Regional Planning Department will hold a Montrose zoning study meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 21 at Rosemont Middle School, 4725 Rosemont Ave., to examine concerns over multi-family development in Crescenta Valley.
