The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) presents two nights of "Music in the Zoo" under the stars featuring World Music Night from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, and All-American Music Night from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25.
Musical acts will perform on both nights in different locations throughout the Zoo, and guests will be able to spot more than a few animals staying up past their bedtimes (until 8 p.m.) to enjoy the music. There will also be strolling entertainment including jugglers and a cowboy roper.
Guests may pack a picnic or enjoy the Zoo's many food and beverages available for purchase.
World Music Night on July 11 includes the Masanga Marimba Ensemble playing traditional marimbas from Zimbabwe, Scottish music by the Wicked Tinkers, Mediterranean music from Shaya & Rafi, and Irish music by Mrs. Murphy's Chowder. Another highlight of the evening is a daredevil circus show featuring the flying "Club Med Circus Performers."
