August 11, 2006

The Glendale Community Foundation, celebrating its 50th year as a publicly supported charitable endowment with now nearly $8 million in assets, will be hosting its fifth seminar on Aug. 17.

The seminar, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., is the fifth out of eight to help local nonprofits and charities improve their operations.

Titled "How to Improve Your E-mail Communications," the event will feature a workshop with Lillian Cloud of Cloud Communications who offers counsel, creative collaboration and training in written and verbal communications for both for- and not-for-profit businesses.
