PTA NEWS:Exploring college tools for parents, students

Betsy Ames, PTA president, invites everyone to the first association meeting of the year scheduled for Wednesday. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. The internationally known Hoover Jazz Band will entertain everyone. Many alumni from Keppel are members of the band. Pizza will be available for purchase and child care will be provided.

There will be no school on Friday because of Staff Development Day. The school is continuing to sell Sally Foster Gift Wrap, which includes magazines this year. Track B will begin selling after its kick-off assembly on Sept. 28.

The sixth-grade Jump-A-Thon is scheduled for tracks B, C, and D on Sept. 26. Don't miss the sixth- grade carwash and pancake breakfast on Sept 30. Call the school for start time. The Harvest Festival (a.k.a. Family Fun Night) will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct 6.
