The Stepping Stone Players present "Guys and Dolls" at the Hoover High School Theater, 651 Glenwood Road, Glendale. The Chabad Jewish Center of Glendale presents free high holiday services beginning with Rosh Hashanah services at 10 a.m. at the Glendale Hilton, 100 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale. Second day services will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday with the Shofar sounding at 11:30 a.m. and the Tashlich services at 5 p.m. at the Japanese Gardens in Brand Park, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale. The Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter presents the Glendale Friendship Games from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Glendale High School, 1440 E. Broadway, Glendale. Young members of nonprofit organizations and athletic groups will compete in chess matches, volleyball, soccer, table tennis, swimming and tennis matches. The games will continue at 5 p.m. on Sunday with a basketball game between Glendale City Council members and nonprofit directors.
