Take the whole family to celebrate Halloween at Heritage Square Museum during the Second Annual Halloween and Mourning Tours program. This two day event is perfect for the whole family and a safe alternative for trick-or-treating.

On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29, adult visitors will be inside the museum's historic houses dressed in mourning about Victorian traditions surrounding death and the origins of Halloween during their special tours.

On Sunday, Oct. 29 only, children ages 2 to 12 are invited to arrive in costume, play period games, enjoy and make in 19th century harvest crafts, choose a pumpkin for the pumpkin patch, and receive treats from costumed interpreters. The San Gabriel Story Tellers will share spooky stories inside the Valley Knudsen Residence on Sunday as well.
