Four artists exhibit at Descanso Gardens' Boddy House Gallery at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, through Nov. 26. Miriam Balcazar creates high- and low-fire ceramics and sculpture, Linda Fiedler is known for exotic watercolors, Linda DuPas and Frank Lennartz both specialize in plein air and studio oil paintings of nature. The Boddy House Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and entrance is free with $7 Gardens admission, $5 for seniors and students, $2 for children 5 to 12 and free for members and children 5 and under. An open forum for the up to six candidates selected as finalists for the provisional trustee position on the Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees will be held at 1 p.m. in the auditorium of Glendale Community College, 1500 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale. Following the public forum, the Board of Trustees will hold finalist interviews during a special meeting at 5 p.m. in the Student Center.
