First Church of Christ, Scientist:Annual Thanksgiving Day Service to Take Place

The members of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in La Cañada Flintridge invite their friends and families, and the public, to the church's annual Thanksgiving Day service of gratitude.

"Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalms 106:1) will be read at the Thanksgiving Day service.

Testimonies of thanks given by the congregants will conclude the service, which consists of readings from the King James version of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures", by Mary Baker Eddy.

The 10 a.m. service lasts for one hour. No collection will be taken. Children too young to attend the service may be cared for in the children's room. The church is located at 600 Foothill Blvd. The number is 790-3493.
