Sunday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) and Latin American Studies are sponsoring a Peña at Glendale Community College in the J.W. Smith Student Center Conference Room. Proceeds from the event will go toward book scholarships for the new student organization Voces de Manana. The event features live Andean music, Mexican and Bolivian folklore dance presentations as well as books and CDs, arts and crafts and Latin American food.
