Financial leader gets board appointment

Frank L. Buckley, managing director of Ramsey-Schilling Commercial Real Estate Services — which serves the tri-city area of Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena — has been appointed to the board of directors of CORE Network.

The Dallas-based CORE is a nationwide affiliation of 70 mid-sized real estate brokerages and real estate investment advisory firms.

Association to host a mixer for the holidays

The Glendale Latino Assn. will meet for a holiday mixer from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bank of the West, 400 N. Glendale Ave.

There will be refreshments, priszes and music. Bring an unwrapped toy to benefit the New Horizons toy drive.

Cost is $7 for members and $10 for guests.
