And what happened to Judas? Was choosing him a mistake?

And why did he choose Peter (the rock) on which to build his Church when John was the guy he really liked?

Just a few of the questions I would like to ask Jesus if I had the chance….

I would like to have dinner with the surprise Nobel Peace Prize recipient Shirin Ebadi. She is the first Iranian and first Muslim woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

I am very proud of Shirin Ebadi for her humanitarian work with women and children in what we Americans view as an oppressed society. I would like to understand her motivation to continue to work for fair treatment and human rights in the face of political and economic adversity. I believe her efforts stand tall against a climate of world-wide greed, terrorism and war.

Shirin Ebadi urges a new interpretation of Islamic law that is in harmony with vital human rights. This is a 21st-century challenge not only for theocracies, but for every government and citizen on Earth. I would listen to her advice about raising a family, educating others and what I can do as a minister to inspire others to become peace advocates.
