The La Cañada United Methodist Church is trying something different on Christmas Eve this year. The morning worship service is being moved to 2 p.m.
It will be a service of music, scripture, and the Holy Family. There will also be a special guest to help the children understand that Santa came to us from a pastor named Nicholas, who dearly loved children. All are welcome and the service is appropriate for all ages.
The church will also have a Candlelight Communion Service at 11p.m. on Christmas Eve. This is a very mellow, relaxed time of worship featuring candlelight, great special music, and Holy Communion.
