Last year's News-Press All-Area Player of the Year, Hererra finished this season with totals of 276 kills, 161 digs and 44 blocks to earn a spot on the All-CIF Southern Section Division I second-team.
She was also an All-Mission League first-team selection for the Tologs.
Christine Jung, La Cañada, Senior
The Spartans' libero earned All-CIF Southern Section Division II-A and All-Rio Hondo League first-team honors following a run to the division quarterfinals. La Cañada captured a Rio Hondo League championship with a 9-1 league record.
Karissa Lagmay, Burroughs, Junior
Lagmay earned a spot on the All-CIF Southern Section Division II second-team following a season in which she averaged 12 kills per match in Pacific League play and 15 kills over three playoff matches.
She was an integral part of the Indians' complete turnaround from last season.

The 2007 Tournament of Roses Queen led the Rebels this season with 142 kills and 27 aces, while only playing in 12 matches.
She was an All-Prep League first-team selection and a return selection to the All-Area team.

The Indians enjoyed a true resurgence in their first season in the Pacific League with a 15-9 record. Following a winless Foothill League campaign in 2005, Real coached Burroughs to a third-place finish in the Pacific League (10-4) this year, followed by its first appearance in the CIF Southern Section Division II-A quarterfinals since 1986.
