Jan. 2-19 — Priority registration for spring semester.

Jan. 2-5 — Open registration for winter session continues.

Jan. 8 — Winter session begins.

Jan. 9 — Insurance Career Fair: Verdugo Jobs Center, 1255 S. Central Ave. 9 a.m. to noon.

Jan. 9 & 10 — Auditions: For the Theatre Arts Dept. March production of "Bus Stop." Cast members must enroll in a theatre arts workshop during winter session. Auditions are by cold readings. Auditorium Mainstage Theatre. 7 to 10 p.m. Call 240-1000, ext. 5618.

Jan. 14 — GCC Swap Meet: Upper campus lot. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission. For information call 240-1000, ext. 5805.

Jan. 15 — Martin Luther King Day Holiday: Campus closed.
