PASADENA — La Crescenta resident Brian K. Brookey was named a partner of the intellectual property law firm of Christie, Parker & Hale, LLP, it was announced by Robert A. Green, chair of the executive committee of the firm.
Brookey graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in English, and earned his J.D. degree from UCLA School of Law. His specialty is intellectual property litigation. Brookey handles lawsuits at the trial and appellate level involving claims of patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition. He also has significant experience handling contested trademark matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Brookey joined Christie, Parker & Hale, LLP, in 2000.
