Los Angeles — City of Glendale Councilmember Ara Najarian has been announced as one of the newest members of the board of directors for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He replaces recently retired director Frank Robers.
Councilmember Najarian is a member of the Metro Board of Directors, the current vice-chair of the Glendale Redevelopment Agency, and past chair of the Glendale Transportation and Parking commission. A graduate of Occidental College and USC, Najarian has a law practice in Glendale where he makes his home with his wife and two children. He was elected to the Glendale City Council in 2005.
