Police Report

The following incidents were taken from reports filed at the Glendale Police Station:

  • East Chevy Chase Drive: A 32-year-old Glendale man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of violating a court order to stay away from a 7-Eleven convenience store.

  • 1100 North Columbus Avenue: Residential burglary was reported Wednesday after the owner reported more than $500 in cash and several items of jewelry missing.

  • 3400 block of Downing Avenue: Vehicle burglary was reported Wednesday when the owner of a Mazda minivan reported its rear passenger window shattered and a laptop computer missing.

  • 5000 block of San Fernando Road: A 21-year-old Santa Monica man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trespassing at Home Depot.

  • East Colorado Street at South Verdugo Road: Two Glendale men, 24 and 25 respectively, were arrested in the parking lot of Ralphs supermarket Wednesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana with the intent to sell. The 25-year-old man reportedly led police and K-9 units on a brief foot chase, but was apprehended near the 500 block of Griswold Street.

  • 1100 block of Lexington Avenue: A 37-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of removing recyclable plastic bottles from a city receptacle.

  • 1400 block of East Wilson Avenue: Vehicle burglary was reported Wednesday when the owner of a Nissan SUV reported its driver's-side window shattered and a portable GPS navigation system missing.

  • 100 South Brand Boulevard: A 30-year-old Los Angeles woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of shoplifting after a loss-prevention agent at Mervyn's reportedly saw the woman conceal more than $250-worth of store merchandise.
