Glendale City Council Meeting Preview

ON THE AGENDA

The following items will be considered at Tuesday's Glendale City Council meeting:

 

LABORATORYThe City Council will consider whether to authorize the city manager to allot $192,000 from the budget to extend a contract with Truesdail Laboratory for up to one year for services that include monitoring the city's water.

SERVICES

 

Glendale Water and Power staffers are looking into awarding a new laboratory contract and is requesting to continue to use the current laboratory in the mean time.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The council will likely approve the amendment.

FUEL OIL TANKSThe City Council will vote on whether to adopt specifications staff has laid out for furnishing labor, material and equipment to empty, clean and disconnect out-of-service underground fuel oil tanks and associated underground piping at Glendale Water and Power's Grayson Power Plant. The project is dubbed the Underground Fuel Oil Tanks and Piping Closure Project, and the council will consider whether to direct the city clerk to advertise for bids.
