On Feb. 8 at 7 p.m., the Center for Children at La Crescenta Presbyterian will present a panel of experts to discuss the subject of kindergarten readiness.
The panel will discuss what kindergarten looks like, what students should know before and after kindergarten and what parents can do to help them get ready.
The distinguished panelists will be Chris Simmons, Glendale Unified School District kindergarten teacher; Dr. Barbara Barber, pediatrician; Mary Williams, preschool teacher; and Cathy McKently, Glendale Unified School District speech therapist.
