Pasadena Young Musicians teams with the Los Angeles Philharmonic

Pasadena Young Musician's Orchestra has been selected to participate in The Los Angeles Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Partners Program, and the LA Phil will work closely with PYMO to provide supplemental music instruction. You can hear this outstanding orchestra as it performs its Capriccio Concert, Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Pasadena City College's Sexson Auditorium. The concert will feature soloist Carina Jette performing Griffes' Poem for flute and orchestra. Other selections include Symphony #1 by Mahler, Overture to Candide by Bernstein and Capriccio Espanol by Rimsky-Korsakov. Suggested donations are $5 for general admission and $3 for seniors and students. Parking is available in all PCC lots for $2. For additional information, please call (626) 585-7580.
