Tuesday is Election Day

Registered voters are reminded that municipal elections are being held this Tuesday, April 3. Up for consideration are candidates for Glendale City Council, Glendale Unified School District board of education and Glendale Community College board of trustees.

There are eight candidates, including two incumbents, running for two open Glendale City Council seats. They are Vrej Agajanian, John Drayman, Chahe Keuroghelian, Greg Krikorian, incumbent Rafi Manoukian, Herbert Molano, Lenore Solis and incumbent Dave Weaver. Only registered voters in the city of Glendale, which includes a part of La Crescenta, will be eligible to cast a ballot in this race.

In the race for the Glendale Unified School District board of education, two candidates will be voted in. Candidates for these two seats are Hasmig Aslanian, incumbent Mary Boger, Todd Hunt, Naira Khachatrian, Elizabeth Manasserian and Nayiri Nahabedian.

The board of trustees for the Glendale Community College has two open seats that three candidates are vying for. These candidates are incumbent Vahe Peroomian, Christine Rodriguez and incumbent Tony Tartaglia.
