The team won first place at the recent San Diego Regional competition, which in turn allowed them to compete in the national contest held in Atlanta, Georgia. The team will be able to compete against robotic teams from all over the world.

Their challenge now is to raise funds to get the team to Atlanta, at an estimated total cost of $20,000. The team will raise money this weekend by having a car wash from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Chevron Station at 466 W. Broadway in Glendale.

Tickets are being pre-sold for $6 and are available from any Clark robotic student or at the Clark Magnet High School before 4 p.m. on Friday. Tickets will also be on sale at the car wash for $8.
