Wendy McDonald and Ian Stewart, both of Diamond Bar, were married in Upland. The Rev. Carl Witt officiated.

A reception followed at the Glendora Women's Club, where bagpipes were played in recognition of the couple's Scottish heritage.

The matron of honor was Darcy Ross.

The bridesmaids were Laura Boschen, Chrissy Whitman and the bride's sister Kimberley Panarelli.

The best man was David Ross and the groomsmen were Brad Aubuchon, Norm Bogenschild and Greg McDonald.

The couple honeymooned in Whistler, Canada, where they enjoyed snowboarding.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon Martin, of Glendale, and Robert McDonald, of Glendora.

She is a graduate of St. Mary's College and Azusa Pacific University.

The groom is the son of Kathryn Stewart, of Durham, N.C., and John Stewart, of Sylmar.

He is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona.

The bride is a fourth-grade teacher in Monrovia and the groom is an engineer.

The couple have made their home in Diamond Bar.
