The Glendale Parks, Recreation and Community Services Division will be offering spring day camp program for youth and teens between the ages of 6 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Verdugo Park, 1621 Cañada Blvd., Glendale. Fees start at $95 per camper per week. Activities include arts, crafts, sports, games and a field trip. The camp will be available through April 20. Pre-registration is required. A lecture on the freedom of the press in Armenia will start at 7 p.m. at the Glendale Public Library, 222 E. Harvard St. The event will include a presentation by Edik Baghdasaryan, the editor-in-chief of Yerevan-based www.HETQ.AM, and two documentary films.
