The Glendale Parks, Recreation and Community Services Division will be offering spring day camp program for youth and teens between the ages of 6 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Verdugo Park, 1621 Cañada Blvd., Glendale. Fees start at $95 per camper per week. Activities include arts, crafts, sports, games and a field trip. The camp will be available through April 20. Pre-registration is required. A lecture on the freedom of the press in Armenia will start at 7 p.m. at the Glendale Public Library, 222 E. Harvard St. The event will include a presentation by Edik Baghdasaryan, the editor-in-chief of Yerevan-based www.HETQ.AM, and two documentary films. The West Coast premiere of "Bailegangaire" continues with performances at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at the Luna Playhouse, 3706 San Fernando Road, Glendale. The Roaders Car Club will host "Discontinued Model Night" from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hill Street Café, 3301 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank. Registration begins at 4 p.m. and there is a $5 entry fee for those who wish to display cars for judging. Show participants receive a 10% discount on their dinner with paid entry.
