My name is Catherine McDonald and I attend Glendale High School. I will attend GCC and transfer to UCLA, majoring in Journalism. I have been a member of the GHS dance/drill team for two years. Our Co-ed dance team took place four at Nationals for our ninth consecutive year.

David Nalbandyan — $1,000

My name is David Nalbandyan and I'm currently attending Glendale High School. I plan on entering GCC's science program and later transferring to UCLA to major in Mathematics. I have been involved in many clubs and sports, and have volunteered as a youth basketball coach and as a tutor.

Anet Babayan — $1,000

My name is Anet Babayan, and I currently attend Glendale High School. I plan to attend California State University of Northridge next year, taking full time courses and pursuing my goal as a Kinesiologist. After earning my bachelors, I would pursue my dream and work with athletes providing the best rehab and care center. I have participate in Associated Student Body, been part of diving and have competed in C.I.F. division one championships for three continuous years.

Linda Mossessian — $500

My name is Linda Mossessian and I am a senior at Glendale High School. I plan to attend PCC and transfer to UCLA or USC as a Film and Television major. I'm interested in the critical studies of film and am interested in the production process.

Maral Antwan — $2,000

Maral Antwan is currently attending Glendale High School. She was awarded a $2,000 scholarship. She will attend Pasadena City College and major in chemistry. Her goal is to become a pharmacist. She is a scout leader to girls ages 9-11. She devotes her Sundays to teaching them scouting skills and doing arts and crafts.

Irene Jang — $1,000

My name is Irene Jang & I attend Glendale High School currently. Next year I will attend UC Berkeley as a molecular cell & biology major on a pre-med track to become a pediatric cardiologist in the future. I hope to go on medical missions as a doctor. I was junior class president and I've volunteered over 800 hours.

Isabel Vergara — $500

Attending Glendale High School. Planning to attend Glendale Community College and transfer to USC. Career interests: Architectural Drafting, Health and Nutritional Sciences. Participated in the Variety Show. Volunteer as Peer tutor after school. Member of International Dance and officer of Spanish Club. President and founder of Cultural Union Club.
